Campaigns

A big part of our role in the Tobacco Control sector is to campaign so we can gather more public support and mobilise our communities. We have been very successful with our latest campaign 'Out of Sight, Out of Mind' which we fought hard for and lead along with ASH New Zealand, many other Tobacco Control organisations and lets not forget the public who provided the Government with their opinions, fantastic work.

Our next phase is branching out the CANTOBACCO- Protect Our Children message into Smokefree Outdoor Areas. We have been very successful in working with local authorities at a regional level to enhance smokefree areas such as play grounds and sports grounds but, we are now thinking BIGGER.

If we are serious about achieving a Smokefree Aoteroa by 2025 then we need to build on our successes and strive for bigger.
